Grasping

I started with a mistake from the manufacturer which was a chip in the upper left hand corner of the canvas. I built shapes off this and started to develop something that had a feeling of being alive. The name of the piece is representative of the core action I feel when looking at the piece: purple tendrils wrap around yellow swooping shapes. A large yellow shape curves around the center of the square canvas. Purple and red veins wrap around the yellow shapes, grasping at them with their dark tendrils.
